Botox for Jaw Pain

Bruxism (jaw clenching and tooth grinding overnight) and TMJ disorders can be painful and debillitating conditions. Injectables can be injected into the masseter muscles of the lower jaw bilaterally, relaxing them and assisting with overall reduction in jaw pain, headaches, and wearing out of enamel on the teeth. 

This treatment can provide relief where other measures such as bite guards have not. Injectable treatment to the masseters typically lasts approx. 3-4 months. 

This treatment has a $250 injection fee, but often Extended Benefits will cover some of the cost of neuromodulator.  Check with your insurance provider prior to booking an appointment and Lumina will be able to issue a prescription.  Lumina can also supply the neuromodulator, at a rate of $7.00 per unit.
